Senate can go on Offense

Taking the Offense on the Issue of School Violence.

It is hoped that this article will be viewed by one or more conservative US Senators before the Autumn 2022 session.

The recent stream of multiple shootings has put our conservative legislators on their heels. Constitutional arguments seem almost inadequate, now, in defending our right to bear arms. Protecting our school children seems impossible.

A unique and wonderful tool is available to conservatives in this debate… in the form of Ann Blake-Tracey, PhD, director of the International Coalition for Drug Awareness, drugawareness.org. During her 30+ year career, she has gained much first-hand experience observing the ugly effects of anti-depressants on children.

Dr. Blake-Tracey’s expertise gives our legislators the ability to execute a ‘reverse’ on our gun-grabbing opponents, putting them on the defensive. Questions come to mind, that our opponents should be asked regularly during school violence debates:

1)Do you believe the effects (if any) of psychotropic medications on perpetrators of school violence, and in particular, perpetrators of school shootings, should be investigated? Why, or why not?

2)In most public schools, for legal reasons it is difficult to expel an unruly student, even after a dozen or more incidents. Have you or any of your colleagues ever attempted to remedy this situation through legislation?

The work of Dr. Blake-Tracy should be brought to the Senate floor this fall, during any discussion of school violence, or of banning firearms. For years, we’ve always accepted the premise of the Left… that guns are the problem… and then, continued with the debate from that point.

In addition, our side needs to take the lead by rectifying the issues discussed above. 1)Use of prescription psychotropic medications by students should be stopped or curtailed. 2)The expulsion of potentially dangerous students should be made simple and easy. 3)Access to private school should be made available to all.

Legislators, please read the articles below, authored by Dr. Blake-Tracey. Non-legislators, please forward the links below to a Congressperson of your choosing, one whom you feel would be likely to take action.
